Stay tuned for the universal tornament of power where Future Trunks did not return to the future timeline but stayed in the present until after the tournament of power.

After Future Zeno erased the future timeline, Future Trunks and Mai remained in the present. Here everything was the same but Future Trunks regularly trained with Vegeta in the gravity chamber and even with Whis. Whis still helped Bulma give birth to Bulla and Future Trunks trained with Vegeta in the hyperbolic chamber once more. The time for the tournament of power came. The candidates: - Son Goku

The fight starts: Future Trunks attacks Jiren in his mastered ssj rage form evenly matched. Son Goku and Vegeta eliminates Universe 9 in the meantime except the Trio De Danger. Bergamo become giant and takes out Rebrianne. Even Krillin and Android 18 gets knocked out after eliminating a few members from Universe 4. Future Trunks knocks out giant Bergamo while Freezer takes out Basil and Lavender. Frost takes out many of Universe 4 contestants until Freeza betrays and knocks him out. Vegeta has a good fight with Hit and actually beat him with despite the assassin's improved time skip by turning SSJ blue evolution. Tien gets eliminated by Harmira and Prum but after Dr Rota attacks Harmira, Vegeta throws rocks at Prum and knocks him out. Vegeta proceeds to knock out Toppo.
