Cows are strictly herbivores but sometimes freaks of nature does occur. This is no difference from the hippopotamus occasionally eating meat.

This is no difference from the hippopotamus occasionally eating meat. i would not say strict herbivores but they are herbivores they do eat meat rarley , definally not as strict as a buffulo or a rhino , what makes cows herbivores and not omnivores is because unlike omnivores like humans , dogs , gorillas , chimps , bears , pigs and monkeys who can all get their nutrients from animals as well as plants , cows cannot , cows can only get their nutrients from plants like grass and cannot get nutrients from meat unlike omnivores.
