I think gorillas are mainly herbivorous but they do eat insects and termites at times.

Probably. However, hippos being strictly herbivores still eat meat on rare occassions yet are not classified as omnivorous.

Probably. However, hippos being strictly herbivores still eat meat on rare occassions yet are not classified as omnivorous. hippos are a bit diffrent , although they can eat meat , it is not good nor natrual too them , gorillas can eat all the meat they want and not get sick

I see your point giant pandas are still classified in the order called Carnivora and their diet is considered omnivorous. I guess the same can be said for gorilla since their cousins such as chimpanzees and baboons and mandrills eat meat whenever the opportunity is there.
