Humans are omnivores as that's what they are meant to be. Some humans are vegans but their body system is made them more suited to be omnivores. According to the Bible (not bible bashing but that's what it says), humans were originally herbivores until after the flood. Therefore, there are going to be different opinions on this one but lets not get into religious arguments.

Still using general knowledge and common sense, it is obvious that our teeth structure makes us omnivores. The teeth structure of chimpanzees also make them omnivores. The califonian grizzly bears which can weigh up to 2200 pounds were originally predominantly carnivores (85% of their diet was meat only 10% less predatory than the polar bear) most prey animals were shot to extinction. The modern days grizzly bear feeds mostly on plants from then on. Yet they are still included in the order carnivora. The giant panda and spectacled bear are also included in the order carnivora despite being mostly herbivorous so teeth structure might not be so clear cut. Cats are 100% carnivores that can open and close their jaws and have the bed quick killing bite among land mammals. Bears on the other hand grab their prey's spine and shake like canines do but have flexible powerful forearms to hold their prey still.

correct , i agree that humans are omnivores and not herbivores , also chimpanzees are omnivores as well , they eat meat and plants but mostly plants
