No they can't be vegans because their digestive system was not made for that. i agree , dogs are classed as omnivorous and cats are classed as carnivorous , but neither can live on a vegan or vegetarian diet and to me it is morally wrong to force an animal that is made to eat meat to go vegan , even if they could survive on that diet , doesnt mean they should , its like if humans were raised by cows and they forced you to take pills and eat grass even though your psychilogical food is nuts , grains , fruits , vegetables , meats , it would be cruel , so it is no diffrent for dogs and cats who need meat to live and thrive. |
