The gorilla is powerful enough to defeat the green anaconda face to face. A large female anaconda can kill a silverback by ambush and if it gets its coils around its neck, arms, and body but will not be able to swallow it. This will be a real life version of King Kong vs giant snake.

The Green Anaconda can win, but its going to have a hard time constricting a 400 pound primate with extremely strong limbs.

The Green Anaconda can win, but its going to have a hard time constricting a 400 pound primate with extremely strong limbs. i agree it has the abillty to kill the gorilla by ambush , seeing how they can kill smaller primates like monkeys and sometimes humans but face to face i think a gorilla can beat a anaconda even a large green anaconda stands little chance against a silverback gorilla. |
